We Have Supported

Supporting Educators
through high quality training, showcasing working examples of curriculum, and by providing connections to others in the field doing related work.

CONSULTING and TRAINING
We offer consulting and training in a variety of areas related to community-based education and service-learning.

Options range from in-service presentations, to full-day workshops, to multiday or week-long summer institutes that support educators in using service-learning as a teaching strategy. A primary resource is the teacher developed guide Connecting Service-Learning to the Curriculum: A Workbook for Teachers and Administrators, now in use by teachers in more than thirty states. MORE INFO on the Workbook

“The facilitators understand the concepts and subject matter extremely well. Their knowledge helped to open up my mind to the many different avenues of service-learning. It was great having work and discussion time to help get things going. I loved having the time to share with my colleagues.”
